Change the system colors
Starting with One UI 4, Samsung adopted one of the most interesting new features of Android 1: the ability to generate custom color palettes based on the tones of the wallpaper set on the mobile. This color palette is used for home screen icons, menus, apps, and other interface elements. Additionally, you can choose your preferred color palette from several options generated by the theme system. To do this, simply go to “Settings ” then to “Wallpaper & Style.” Finally, go to the “Color Palette” section and select your favorite option.
Personalize your folders by color
The One UI launcher offers dozens of customization options, including a very uncommon one: the option to change the background color of icon folders . To change the color of a folder in One UI, long-press on the folder, then tap the small circle next to its name . A color selection window will then appear, allowing you to choose your preferred background color for the folder.
If you have one of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series models, you can enjoy one of the best new features included in One UI 4.1: “mart widgets”. This feature lets you stack multiple widgets and switch between them by swiping your finger across them, saving space. Smart widgets are available in the widgets menu, accessible by long-pressing any space on your home screen.
Sort the applications alphabetically.
For some reason we still don’t know, Samsung remains the only brand that doesn’t sort apps alphabetically in the app drawer. Luckily, there’s an option to change the order automatically. To do this, open the app drawer by swiping up from the home screen, tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner, choose the “Order” option, and then choose “Alphabetical order”.
Hide apps from the app drawer
In addition to changing the order, Samsung also lets you hide some apps from the app drawer to keep it organized to your liking. To hide apps from the drawer, simply long-press on a space on the home screen, tap “Settings,” and then find the ” Hide apps ” section. Finally, just select the apps you want to hide.
